Tour Details

We have carefully designed our ‘Athens Acropolis, Museum and City Tour’ to allow you to see all that Athens has to offer in just a few hours. During your tour, you’ll be able to visit modern Athens alongside such historic monuments as the Acropolis, Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaia, the Nike Temple and other significant sights including the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Agora, the National Observatory of Athens and the city’s scenic hills: Filoppapos, Mars, and Pnyx. So, what are you waiting for!

The tour starts with a glance at modern Athens; at the Syntagma metro station. Here we’ll have a brief look at the ancient artefacts housed at the metro’s museum. You’ll also see the Greek Parliament, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, and watch the Changing of the Guards. Then, our guide will walk you through the National Gardens, Zappeion Hall, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch.
From there we’ll walk you towards the Acropolis on the beautiful walkway called Dionysiou Areopagitou.  When you reach the Acropolis of Athens, you’ll be able to explore the Parthenon, one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. Then, you’ll be able to delve deeper into it’s fascinating history at the Acropolis Museum, where marble masterpieces tell a story of their own.
The Acropolis Museum is a highlight of this tour, and a perfect follow-up to visiting the sights at the Acropolis itself. Renowned as one of the must-see museums in the world, you’ll find yourself up close to the impressive marble masterpieces found on the Acropolis including many a dramatic sculpture that brilliantly defines the significance of the Classical period of ancient Greece. With skip the line access to all these ancient wonders you’ll certainly never be bored. Entering on the south slope of the Acropolis, you’ll visit the Dionysus Sanctuary and Dionysus Theatre before you walk up the slope leading to the Acropolis monuments. Panoramic views of the city will be perfect for Instagram-ready photos.
